I am a lifelong learner who brings passion and dedication to all of my (too many) pursuits. I have over 20 years of experience in all aspects of product, marketing, and sales strategy and operations. Before joining Omnidian, I spent 15 years at a rapidly scaling design and manufacturing company in the building products industry. Helping organizations to scale effectively and grow successfully is one of my superpowers. I always want to be where I can make the biggest impact, which is why I love being at the hub of activity in the Product team.

WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME:

Living a balanced life filled with family, friends, the outdoors, creative pursuits, and giving back — extra points for combining as many of these together as possible! And above all, the health of our planet. I am grateful to have the opportunity to combat climate change by accelerating the adoption of renewable energy at Omnidian, and as an avid paddle boarder, I am passionate about protecting and restoring our oceans.

People often assume that because of my small stature and feminine style that I’m demure, but I’m secretly a rebel who wants to push boundaries, take on new challenges, and leave behind an extraordinary legacy. I try to live out integrity and knowledge as my key values, trusting that these two can help me become a better, well-rounded person and an open-minded, life-long learner. I know communication can solve many of the world’s problems, and that love has to and will conquer hate.

WHAT MATTERS MOST

My husband, our son, our dogs, and the life/business we’re building together is what makes me get out of bed in the morning. My marketing career is an added blessing! I’m also stoked when I get to work on my prickly pear orchard, talk religion/philosophy, have fancy cocktails with friends, visit new places, experience nature, consume enjoyable media, and dress like I’m from the 1940’s or ’50s.

Before joining Omnidian, Max spent over a decade in the solar and energy storage industry, selling everything from 3kW residential systems to multi-megawatt community solar developments. A natural problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, he is always drawn to work that pushes us beyond the status quo. Outside of work, Max enjoys anything that gets him outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Since a young age, he’s always had an arm/leg in some type of creative outlet as well- whether it’s cooking, woodworking, photography, and music. Fun fact: he was the drummer in a San Francisco-based surf rock band for over five years!

Tarunya Govindarajan (She/Her)

Vice President of Product

Tarunya is the Vice President of Product at Omnidian where she supports a talented and passionate team across Product, Program, and Product Marketing Management. She is inspired by Omnidian’s mission to protect and accelerate investments in clean energy, with a commitment to deliver an excellent client experience. 

With over 15 years of product leadership experience at Meta and several growth-stage startups, Tarunya brings a wealth of expertise in scaling products and teams. At Meta, she led the product team for Community Creators serving over 800 million users and previously founded Messenger Kids, Meta’s first successful 0 → 1 standalone app, taking it from idea to 2+ million active users. Prior roles include building one of the first education technology platforms, Edmodo, from less than a million to nearly 100 million users worldwide.

Tarunya holds an MBA from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Dartmouth College. She lives in San Francisco with her family.

As co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Omnidian, Ray is responsible for business development and strategic partnerships. With over 24 years of executive leadership experience and a track record for identifying and forging strategic alliances, he most recently served as Managing Director of Advisory in Financial Services for KPMG. He previously served as a senior executive with Washington Mutual Bank’s Commercial Division — where he launched a $2 billion business line, as Head of Product for Bank of the West, and as SVP with financial services provider, Account Now. In the solar industry, he transformed the global customer acquisition strategies for SunPower. Ray holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University.

I love being outdoors, practicing yoga, watching sports, and listening to music…anything from James Taylor to Calibre to Wu Tang Clan. I also deeply love dogs, even though I’m waiting a few years before getting my own. For now, I steal my parent’s Vizsla, (Crazy) Cabi, and my brother’s English Bulldog, Gus (the Bus). Natalie Kim is the Vice President of Legal at Omnidian where she provides strategic guidance on all legal matters for the company. She is passionate about building a legal team that is a competitive advantage in the industry and strategic partner to the business.

With over a decade of legal leadership experience at Intrinsic, Cisco and technology-focused law firms in the Bay Area, Natalie has deep experience supporting technology companies in all phases of growth. At Intrinsic, she scaled the commercial, privacy and AI programs as the second attorney hired. At Cisco, she supported a billion-dollar product with a full-fledged global sales force.

Natalie is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Princeton University, where she majored in public policy. She lives in Seattle with her husband and three children.

Before co-founding Omnidian, Dave was Senior Director at SunRun, managing and leading the second largest leased residential fleet in the world — including field operations, quality assurance, systems performance and field service network. He has over 12 years of solar and clean tech experience at Sunrun, Metrus Energy and MMA Renewable Ventures. Now, David is the visionary behind our proprietary analytical platform. His vision for our proprietary technology garnered the attention and support of the Department of Energy, resulting in a significant grant supporting the “accelerated development of highly impactful solar technologies.”

I’m a mom to two teenage girls, a labradoodle named Connor, and a revolving cast of pets that keep life interesting. I love to cook (and feed people), clear my head outside, and believe that almost anything can be solved with a long walk and good music.

Professionally, I’m a lifelong field service leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and solving complex operational challenges. I’ve spent my career in the trenches of retail, construction, real estate, and home services—where speed, quality, and a good sense of humor go a long way. I’m direct, data-driven, and a fan of dry wit.

At the end of the day, I care about people, progress, and making work (and life) just a little bit better every day.

What matters most to me is leaving things better than I found them—whether that’s a process, a team, a relationship, or a Saturday night dinner. I care deeply about doing meaningful work with good people, and creating an environment where others can thrive and grow.

I believe in showing up with integrity, leading with clarity, and listening more than I speak (though I’ve learned that one over time). At work, I’m passionate about delivering results, but just as passionate about how we get there—collaboratively, with accountability, and a sense of humor intact.

He managed Sungevity’s Field Service Project Management Department and coordinated service solutions for a fleet of more than 25,000 interconnected PV systems. His efforts to expand the Operations and Maintenance service network by providing national coverage and support reduced average service costs by 25%. He holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Penn State.

Over the past 15 years I have also founded and managed my own startup as well as a launched a local economic development organization. My work in corporate sustainability primarily focused on energy, waste and water management as well as stakeholder engagement. I have been an adjunct professor and instructor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Alabama, and have an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and an MFA in Imaging Arts & Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Before serving as Omnidian’s Head of Ops, Yoseff led SolarCity’s Diagnostics Department and cofounded the Operations and Maintenance Department. He oversaw monitoring operations for 370,000-plus residential and commercial energy assets, acted as point on investor relations and due diligence surrounding asset performance, and managed a committee that improved SolarCity’s energy forecasting tools. Yoseff also worked as an electrician, installing grid-tied and off-grid solar power systems, and spent time as a systems administrator for an Internet service provider.

Happiness and peace is what matter to me the most. To many, that will look different. For me, its about my experiences and who is there for those experiences.
