So far, I greatly admire my introduction into Omnidian because the people I have met and spoken with have been super welcoming, supportive, & I can clearly see how each colleague has contributed to Omnidian’s success! Right from the start, I have witnessed why Omnidian stands out from other companies. The meetings I have participated in have been super informative. Although I am just getting my sea legs with the processes of how Omnidian functions from start to finish, it is all super intriguing and makes me excited for what the future holds for me here! The shadowing meetings have connected me with amazing colleagues and is continuously building a foundation of understanding for me to thrive upon. I am meeting so many different departments and their functions. I am only on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to meeting everyone here at Omnidian and the opportunities that Omnidian has to offer, but I cannot wait for what the future entails! What matters most to me is personal growth and support along the process, which will ultimately help the growth of the people around me and the teams/organizations that I contribute to. I feel that I need to be constantly growing and learning. Whether its pivotal milestones such as achieving challenging certifications and skills, or it’s accomplishing small wins on a daily level; I desire to strive to become better each day. With this, respect is essential. This is respect to people from diverse backgrounds, to nature, and to oneself. Without respect, becoming a better person each day may be derailed from its ultimate goal.

A natural problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, he is always drawn to work that pushes us beyond the status quo. Outside of work, Max enjoys anything that gets him outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Since a young age, he’s always had an arm/leg in some type of creative outlet as well- whether it’s cooking, woodworking, photography, and music. Fun fact: he was the drummer in a San Francisco-based surf rock band for over five years!

Prior to joining Omnidian as Director of Relationship Management, he held leadership positions at Cadmus Energy Services Group and Vela Environmental. Running Spruce’s Field Operations Department, he oversaw the performance of 30,000-plus residential and commercial solar assets, decreased cost of service by 20% and helped secure more than $125 million in new project financing. He holds a BS in Environmental Science from Western Washington University as well as an MBA and MA in International Environmental Policy from Middlebury.

WHO AM I REALLY?:

I am new to the solar industry. I got out of the Military back in 2015. I was in the Army as an 11B (Infantry), great life lessons learned and got to live in Germany for a year and half and deployed to Afghanistan for a year. After the deployment I knew that I was ready to get out before I was broken anymore. I believe that the Military helped me with most of my work values and being a great team member. I am currently looking into furthering my career in the solar industry and look forward to the many opportunities with Omnidian.

WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME:

I spend most of my time with my baby/babies. Back in May of 2022 me and my wife had our first human child together and man it is an experience.
