Nuala serves as Vice President of Residential Operations. She brings over 20 years of expertise leading international customer service organizations focusing on innovation and employee engagement to provide world class customer experiences. Before joining Omnidian, Nuala began her solar journey at SunPower where she was the Vice President of Customer Care, leading teams in Customer Service and Technical Support. Prior to that she lead teams at Wayfair and Amazon, where she spent 7 years, most recently as the Customer Service Director for Amazon Web Services. Nuala graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten, Germany with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and International Marketing.

Tarunya Govindarajan (She/Her)

Tarunya is the Vice President of Product at Omnidian where she supports a talented and passionate team across Product, Program, and Product Marketing Management. She is inspired by Omnidian’s mission to protect and accelerate investments in clean energy, with a commitment to deliver an excellent client experience. 

With over 15 years of product leadership experience at Meta and several growth-stage startups, Tarunya brings a wealth of expertise in scaling products and teams. At Meta, she led the product team for Community Creators serving over 800 million users and previously founded Messenger Kids, Meta’s first successful 0 → 1 standalone app, taking it from idea to 2+ million active users. Prior roles include building one of the first education technology platforms, Edmodo, from less than a million to nearly 100 million users worldwide.

Tarunya holds an MBA from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Dartmouth College. She lives in San Francisco with her family.

Prior to joining Omnidian as Director of Relationship Management, he held leadership positions at Cadmus Energy Services Group and Vela Environmental. Running Spruce’s Field Operations Department, he oversaw the performance of 30,000-plus residential and commercial solar assets, decreased cost of service by 20% and helped secure more than $125 million in new project financing. He holds a BS in Environmental Science from Western Washington University as well as an MBA and MA in International Environmental Policy from Middlebury.

Before co-founding Omnidian, Dave was Senior Director at SunRun, managing and leading the second largest leased residential fleet in the world — including field operations, quality assurance, systems performance and field service network. He has over 12 years of solar and clean tech experience at Sunrun, Metrus Energy and MMA Renewable Ventures. Now, David is the visionary behind our proprietary analytical platform. His vision for our proprietary technology garnered the attention and support of the Department of Energy, resulting in a significant grant supporting the “accelerated development of highly impactful solar technologies.”

Jeff also spent seven years at Amazon, where he was instrumental in transforming the user interface and software design architecture. With over 24 years of executive leadership experience and a track record for identifying and forging strategic alliances, he most recently served as Managing Director of Advisory in Financial Services for KPMG. He previously served as a senior executive with Washington Mutual Bank’s Commercial Division — where he launched a $2 billion business line, as Head of Product for Bank of the West, and as SVP with financial services provider, Account Now. In the solar industry, he transformed the global customer acquisition strategies for SunPower. Ray holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University.

He oversaw monitoring operations for 370,000-plus residential and commercial energy assets, acted as point on investor relations and due diligence surrounding asset performance, and managed a committee that improved SolarCity’s energy forecasting tools. Yoseff also worked as an electrician, installing grid-tied and off-grid solar power systems, and spent time as a systems administrator for an Internet service provider.

People sometimes think I’m super serious, but honestly, I love finding joy and humor in the little things. Before coming to Omnidian, Dana spent 5 years working in higher education. She is passionate about helping individuals 1-1 while simultaneously solving systemic problems. During her tenure at Omnidian, Dana has spearheaded the Proactive, Technical, and Customer support teams. She oversees internal and external alert notifications for Omnidian’s entire residential fleet and provides technical expertise for the Customer Support Team. She holds a BA in Earth and Space Sciences from the University of Washington, as well as a MBA in Sustainable Business and a Certificate in Sustainable Energy Solutions from Presidio Graduate School.

WHO AM I, REALLY

I have a decade of experience leading product development for eight startups across multiple sectors, including civic tech, human rights, health tech and clean tech. Over the past 15 years I have also founded and managed my own startup as well as a launched a local economic development organization. My work in corporate sustainability primarily focused on energy, waste and water management as well as stakeholder engagement. I have been an adjunct professor and instructor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Alabama, and have an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and an MFA in Imaging Arts & Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology.

WHAT MATTERS MOST

My north star is working to tackle pressing environmental challenges that impact climate change. My goal is to bring all the skills and talents I’ve developed through my career to bear on this global crisis and to be a part of that solution.

WHO AM I REALLY?:

I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Psychology and a love for science! Being able to live in an area with such a rich background in research and scientific development is something I am very grateful for. I really enjoy being able to explore all of the wonderful sites and fun adventures that Washington has to offer with my friends and family. I also try to dedicate at least a little bit of time every day for some of my favorite hobbies like reading, watching movies, and discovering new activities around the Seattle area!

WHO AM I REALLY?:

I am a lifelong learner who brings passion and dedication to all of my (too many) pursuits. I have over 20 years of experience in all aspects of product, marketing, and sales strategy and operations. Before joining Omnidian, I spent 15 years at a rapidly scaling design and manufacturing company in the building products industry. Helping organizations to scale effectively and grow successfully is one of my superpowers. I always want to be where I can make the biggest impact, which is why I love being at the hub of activity in the Product team.

Living a balanced life filled with family, friends, the outdoors, creative pursuits, and giving back — extra points for combining as many of these together as possible! And above all, the health of our planet. Before coming onboard as Director of Service Network, Justin spent more than five years working in the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Forestry Program. He managed Sungevity’s Field Service Project Management Department and coordinated service solutions for a fleet of more than 25,000 interconnected PV systems. His efforts to expand the Operations and Maintenance service network by providing national coverage and support reduced average service costs by 25%. He holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Penn State.

Mark Liffmann is co-founder and CEO of Omnidian — the nation’s first performance assurance provider for residential and commercial solar systems. We believe capital investments in solar energy need protection and we founded Omnidian to provide lifetime performance assurance to homeowners, business owners and portfolio-scale residential and commercial system owners. A fifteen-year veteran of the solar industry, he co-founded the residential and light commercial business at SunPower and developed a $500 million global enterprise. He previously held executive leadership positions at Clean Power Research, enerG2 and Solar Depot (Soligent). He holds degrees in Physics and Public Policy from Stanford, and Economics and Law from Harvard University.
